Robotic lawn mower

For our long-standing partner and client, the design studio Tatic, we created a 3D model of a battery-powered robotic lawn mower.

The main challenge of this project was implementing a comprehensive set of requirements regarding the structure, implementation, and handling of the data sets to be created.

Design implementation in accordance with the manual

The design for an autonomous robotic lawn mower, developed by the customer, was provided to us as a detailed Rhino 3D model to serve as a basis for our work. The manufacturer demanded adherence to a comprehensive manual containing guidelines ranging from tolerances to the naming of features in the design tree.

To ensure the smooth integration of the CREO master data set, the hierarchy and structure of the model tree follows strict guidelines.

The native CREO Parasolid 3D geometries we created were tested for spec compliance using the CREO ModelCHECK routine before being transferred to the customer’s PDM system.
